Playboy is releasing a video game in which the player builds up the playboy business empire. When not negotiating deals and training bunnies, the player “lives the life” in a 3D representation of the playboy mansion, interacting with representations of real celebrities, hipsters and athletes.

The sims have long been considered the antithesis to ultra-violent video games like Grand Theft Auto and the various first person shooting games. Online simcity players, many of whom devote hours a day to maintaining their sim-creations, are complaining about mafias emerging within the sim world, violent and vengeful “families” of players that seek control and territory.
