Our branded environment

December 19, 2004

Photographer Matt Siber’s project on brands is a fascinating one. Siber photographs the branding signage that surrounds us and uses Photoshop to eliminate the supporting poles and structures.

The resulting photographs show brand identities that seemingly float in the air. It makes for a very interesting commentary on the ubiquity of brands in our lives and reminds us just how pervasive they are.
