Brilliant documentary created by an ad agency
December 21, 2004
The Dutch advertising agency Kessels-Kramer, best known for its Diesel jeans advertising, is a protagonist of broad range of creativity, including furniture design.
One of its recent ventures has a documentary film, The Other Final, shown recently on the Sundance Channel. It tells the story of a game between two of the worst soccer nations in the world: Bhutan and Montserrat.
The agency developed the idea, when its favored Dutch national side were eliminated from World Cup competition, during the qualification phase. The Other Final is a passionate, creative and often humorous exploration of the true ideals of sport. It illustrates the power sport has to bring nations together and promote cultural understanding.

The film also hints at the huge opportunity for global sports brands to support teams and talent from the Third World.
The Sundance Channel will repeat the film on December 30th.
