Vodaphone tries to get ahead of trends

Vodaphone’s new UK ad campaign features animated Chavs. Chavs are a new sub-cultural element; a Burberry wearing male youth tribe that’s being much talked about in the media. Vodaphone’s goal is to try and stay hip and be ahead of the curve.

Chavs have been the topic of conversation for months in Britain’s tabloids, so there’s an obvious danger of overkill in Vodaphone’s efforts.
