Famous ad gets its own blog

One of the top two TV commercials of last year and most virulent has gotten its own blog.

Sony decided that its Bravia advertising has enough momentum to create a blog about itself. It’s not really a true blog, so say the naysayers, you can’t leave comments. It’s more of an information/news portal.

Apparently, there’s fever-like anticipation of the next Bravia spot and those so inclined can tune in for their fix.

All we know is that Glazer will shoot the spot and the location is a high-rise in Glasgow.

So, what more is there?

There is something so ironic about a TV ad getting its own blog at a time when the medium is supposed to be on its last legs. If you are smart enough to do great creative and use complementary media, (Sony is also pushing additional content out to PSPs), you can extend the life of the TV ad.
