The best thing since sliced bread
May 17, 2006
Influx has blogged about strategic branding opportunities for many industries including drinks, cars, food, shoes, technology, music, etc. Well, here is one branding opportunity we had not thought of.
Toast.
The Pop Art Toaster brands your toast with whimsical and somewhat corny images. But imagine the possibilities.
Here are some ideas that might make you gag:
Imagine buying a hot dog at the ball game and it reads Coca Cola.
What if you bought some apples at the grocery store and they had the Apple logo printed on them.
What would you do if you went to a nice restaurant and your steak said “Eat me with Mondavi 2003 Merlot.”
Or how about if your cookie asked you, “Got Milk?”
Thankfully, our food is not talking to us… yet. But if you want your toast to say, “Bite me” or “I’m hot” then you’re in luck because Target.com just added these toasters to their online inventory.
