Workspace as brand-red bull hq

September 20, 2006

One of our recent posts examined the idea of brands using their workspace as a media, to communicate their brand values.

One great recent example is the design for Red Bull’s HQ in London. The designers, Jump Studios, translated the brand idea “to stimulate body and mind” into the office design.

“This is something we wanted to encapsulate in a central design concept; a building that would stimulate employees and visitors alike and that would manifest the adrenaline and dynamic excitement associated with the brand and its activities”

One of the most interesting applications in the design, is that Jump added a slide, instead of stairs, as the way of descending through the building.

How’s that for a brand experience?
