Google earth-essential media for geobranding

Google Earth is fast becoming an indispensable tool to discover and uncover familiar and unfamiliar places. For cities and countries eager for tourist dollars it seems like an essential location for advertising and media investment.

However, before you spend a dime on advertising your location, you better make sure people can see it.

Look for cities and country tourist hot spots to work more closely with Google to provide better, higher resolution imagery of their locations.

The Norwegian city of Bergen was one of the first, look for others to follow in its wake.
