High oil prices don’t scare jet blue

Jet Blue has turned the oil problem on its head by turning the price of oil into a marketing tactic.
The price for one way tickets out of Houston, the nation’s oil capital, to New York are, for a limited period of time, priced based on the closing market price of oil of the previous day.
It’s a really smart idea to capitalize on the zeitgeist in the one geographic area where it’s most relevant.
