Making barcodes beautiful

The barcode has been with us so long, most of the time, it just blends into the background of products and ads.

In Asia, some companies use barcodes to communicate with customers. Consumers use the barcode readers on their cellphones to access the information.

Design Barcode is a 4-person shop in Japan that?s focused on adding design flair to barcodes.

The agency won a Titanium Lion at Cannes in 2006.
