Facebook’s media worthy corporate culture

March 31, 2011

Facebook’s corporate culture becoming a management talking point was one thing I predicted at the start of the year, so it’s an interesting to see a flavor of that prediction coming true.

MTV recently aired a behind-the-scenes look at the corporate culture of Facebook and obviously there’s more to this than meets the eye.

It’s a little bit of advertorial branding to present the company as “good” which is important when you core base could leave you at any moment for something shinier and more interesting.

It could also be a recruitment tool- given that post The Social Network movie- Facebook is probably a highly desirable place to work, so showing it off can do no harm.
