Mr. Gladwell has been at it again, writing yet another amazing piece , that should fascinate all of us in the marketing business. This time, it's about the business of hit prediction.

His article in the New Yorker profiles a couple of companies in the US working to predict hits in the music and movie business

Influx first wrote about this idea last year, ok it was just a post, not a New Yorker piece, but we found a Spanish company, Polyphonic, who doesn't feature in Gladwell's piece, but is a pioneer in this emerging space.
