Cell phone in disguise

Samsung’s new mobile phone offering “for ladies” is made to look like a make-up compact. It has a device to tell you your precise time of ovulation and even has a calorie counter! The phone is called the Samsung ‘Drama,’ a name and overall concept that will not exactly be heartily embraced by feminist organizations. But it is evidence, once again, that as the cell phone morphs into a multi-task pocket computer, companies are microsegmenting more and more in their bids for market share.
