A new and improved

March 26, 2007

We’ve been running for three plus years with the same clunky blogging software that we built ourselves.

It was so old, it had frames!

We thought it was time for a change and have cleaned things up somewhat, so here’s what we’ve done:

1. Cleaner Design
Easier to read and navigate around, frame free

2. Better Search
The search engine is located on the left side of the page and works pretty well

3. Sharing and Commenting Features
Icons in the top right hand corner of the post allow you to send the post via email or comment on it. We’ve implemented some security features on the comments, for obvious reasons

4. Broader Sharing
The bottom bar of the post allows you to share the post on other sites like Delicious and Digg

5. Tagging
If we remember, we are going to start tagging all posts

6. Account Management
If you sign up for newsletters and Thought Packs you will get an assigned account

Thanks to David Blum, Josh Brewer, Joseph Piro and Victor Ngo at SFI for making this all happen.

We would like to hear what you think, so please add your comments.
