New business news- the consumer gets hired and an agency fired
August 26, 2009
Unilever’s Pepperami brand has fired its agency of 16 years, Lowe and selected the consumer as its new shop.
Apparently the fee is 10,000 pounds, not a month or a year, but for the winning concept.
“We are extremely thankful to Lowe for the brilliant work they achieved
over the last two decades and are looking forward to seeing the ideas
to take Lowe’s legacy forward into the next era of Animal.”
This is a first and a move that strikes fear into ad folk everywhere.
