Google’s secret- making the complex, simple

Google is now facing a number of challenges from multiple directions and perhaps as a response, its homepage has recently gone through a radical re-design, but it’s clear this wasn’t a simple process to get there.
The company tested multiple versions of the page with employees, consumers in lab tests and with live online tests all designed to provide insight to help refine the experience. The brand clearly believes it’s now more important than ever to refresh the experience and keep it up-dated, but there’s also been a lot of thought given to how the page can adapt to new features.
