Making exercise interesting

July 15, 2011

While we are all excited about the technological additions to our lives that can help us set and try to meet goals, there’s sometimes nothing better than the real experience of human competition.

With a little imagination- you can take something that might be as mundane as going for a run and turn into an experience as Team Motion Starved in San Francisco plans to do next week.

“Join Team Motion Starved as we race the 22 Fillmore Muni line from the Marina Green all the way to Geary Street.  There will be KOM (King of the Mountain) prizes for the first to reach the top of the Fillmore Hill. Post race we’ll either take the bus back to the start or stroll along Fillmore for some post race sustenance.

Are you brave enough to race the bus? Come join Team Motion Starved for some Physical Funness!

According to the Muni Schedule, a 22 Fillmore will depart this location at approximately 6:30 pm we need to be ready when they are! Bring your good legs, according to Muni it only takes the bus 17 minutes to make the trip.”

Brands in the outdoors and fitness space have a great opportunity to stretch beyond selling products and create “branded experiences” that become opportunities to see the brand in a different light by creating something real and memorable.

While the fashion and passion might be to create experiences using technology- simple stuff like racing a bus might end up being far more memorable.
