Glasgow born artist Douglas Gordon uses both appropriated and original material in his installation pieces, exploring themes like temptation and fear, life and death, good and evil, and innocence and guilt.

Gordon's installations are often epic in scale, bringing the viewer into the piece as one would be brought into a room, requiring the viewer's active involvement with the usually dark, provocative material. His best known work, '24 Hour Psycho,' consists of an enormous screen showing the 1960 classic film in agonizing slow motion.
