E3 is now over and by this time next year, the next generation of consoles will be in the stores.

What will they be like? Will they change gaming as we know it?

The thing with video games is that you need to see them, rather than read about them, for that reason, we've pulled some of the most interesting videos from E3 from You Tube.

One of the biggest stories was Nintendo's Wii, a next generation console with a highly intuitive controller. Clearly, as the video below shows, Nintendo is trying to attract a completely new audience to the world of gaming, like your grandmother.

PS3's pricing of $499+ was another big story. Is it worth it? You can judge for yourself, we have an interview with Phil Harrison, the head of SCEA, where explains the power of the PS3 and more.

Still not convinced? This video is from a presentation EA gave on how the PS3 moves sports gaming forward. They use the example of basketball.

A lot can happen in 12 months, but it looks as though Sony has a tough job on its hands to communicate the superiority of its system over the Xbox360. The wildcard in the race could be Nintendo, who might just be able to move the gaming experience to a new level, not through flashy graphics, but by the way we interact with games.
