Ad Age reported that there's a plague of Groupon wannabes and I was starting to believe the possibilities- after all CMOs must be look for the next new thing after Facebook, Twitter, iPhone and iPad applications.
With all the inflection points seemingly working in favor of a Groupon wannabe explosion- time sensitivity, social value, spreadability, etc- it's got to be right.
I then take a look at the article and we've got-Wal-Mart (OK, that's massive), Healthy Choice (hardly, Wal-Mart) and W Hotels (not the biggest), but that's just 3 examples.
I believe there's really something to a Groupon wannabe explosion, but I need more examples.
Can anyone help?
Have you seen anything from any brand that looks and feels like a Groupon, but isn't?

This site lists almost 20 similar sites. Living Social is the only one I'm using besides Groupon.
